Background history :

12th grader twin sisters from a senior high school in South Jakarta targeted University of Indonesia as their next college.

Problem :

Even though their academic performance was quite good, they were only in top 30 in their class. In spite of their academic performance, their targeted college was quite high in expectation. The older twin targeted Industrial Engineering at University of Indonesia as her major, and the other twin targeted Faculty of Engineering at University of Indonesia or Padjajaran University as her major.

Solution :

Elite Tutors Indonesia proposed a partial tailored-made tutoring program. Our first focus was to create a strong fundamental principle in Basic Science, as in Basic Math, English and Indonesia Language. Then, we continued to improve their academic performance in Natural Science, as in Physics, Biology, and Chemistry. To increase competitiveness, they were also encouraged to compete with other students of other tutoring firms.

Achievement :

After undergoing the partial tailored-made tutoring program, the older was accepted as a student in Industrial Engineering of University of Indonesia, while the younger one was accepted as a student in the international class of Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia, and in the regular class of Faculty of Medicine of Padjajaran University, but in the end she decided to choose Padjajaran University instead of University of Indonesia.
